Greetings! Brant Mathis here. Let's start with me and my experience so you know who you're working with. I am the primary care giver for my 99 year old mother who lives with me so I have to earn money online. I have several online efforts going that pay me well and on time. Them Mathis Group is an effort to assist others who need more money or to make more money at what they are doing now.
I was an Account Executive, Sales manager, General Manager and Market Manager in the Outdoor Advertising industry for 25 years. I have owned my own company in the past as well as now. I’ve made from $85 per week to $120,000 per year with company car, expense acct., golf memberships, etc. I’ve also had to sell a car on a Wednesday to make payroll on Friday.
I understand that people as well as product, make a company. Getting people to perform to their capabilities in an environment that they look forward to working in makes for a better company. I have consistently improved sales in every position I have held.
General Manager
· Responsible for the overall operation, growth and maintenance of the Louisville market. 65 employee’s in sales, art, scheduling, paint department, construction and electrical.
· Annual sales budget of $13 million in 1993.
· Served on Board of Directors of Kentucky Council on Economic Education, Junior Achievement, and Louisville Ad Club.
· Vice President of Kentucky Outdoor Advertising Association
· Worked with local politicians on new sign ordinances and regulations of the billboards in Louisville.
· Defeated an ordinance to remove all existing billboards.
· Handled numerous due-diligent visits from potential buyers when the owner decided to sell the company.
· De-certified a union because of my relationship with the painters and construction departments. The company could not be sold with that union in place.
Oversaw the transition to a new company. (Outdoor Systems purchased the Louisville market for $40 million.) The Reduction of 15 employees’, the installation of new procedures and accounting system. I worked directly with the President, Vice president and CFO of Outdoor Systems.
